Run a lead-core (weighted) rope through the edge straps on your pool cover roller.

I purched this rope to replace rope lost in the 2022 Victorian floods for scouts. The rope worked awsome for our camp gadgets we made at out pioneering camp
Shock cord was as described, purchased a full roll, unfortunately, some inconsistency in the polyester covering was evident, resulting in a frayed/unsightly areas, in the 10 metre long section used so far.
It looks the part but I haven’t used it yet but it will do the job perfectly.
The service and packaging was very professional. The package was delivered to my door, which was appreciated.
